New branding for Lodge Intelligence Centre

Lodge Service, the £22 million UK security group, has extended its intelligence network - Lodg:Ic - into mainland Europe for central monitoring, control and planning of security and property services.

The intelligence network meets protection, loss prevention and resource allocation needs in the UK of property management companies, such as AIM-listed Serviced Office Group, and retailers who include the £1.5 billion Wilkinson Hardware Stores Ltd.

“ The 24-7 monitoring of web-enabled applications provides the basis for immediate cost savings across user organisations in Europe from the UK, with the benefit of rapid response to alarmed events and other incidents,” says Simon Chapman, managing director of Lodge Service.

“ We’re working with UK clients across Europe and now have security staff in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. The Lodg:Ic network offers businesses strategic control through centralised management of security, power and other buildings’ resources, as well as of staff and vehicles.”

Remote technology to monitor and manage premises, staff and vehicle fleets is combined in a network with on-site security guarding, investigations, screening and other personnel services to meet the needs of corporate users through a single source.

Almost any system or service that is web-enabled can be supported. The software and hardware platform enables users to monitor people, premises and other assets in real time, with alerts to a smartphone, tablet or other selected device.

The range of services and signals monitored through the hub includes: CCTV, staff time and attendance, vehicle tracking, access control, fire and intruder alarms, lone worker protection, building management systems, environmental and waste management, data mining, networked distribution centres, trolley track and EAS tagging.

The centre offers connectivity through multiple platforms for alarm communication, from WebWayOne to BT Redcare, and CSL Dualcom to Sur-gard Receivers. CCTV connections are supported via Immix, Sureview International. The range of compatible devices is under continual review based on client specifications.

Founded in 1919, Lodge Service has some 800 UK staff and local offices and franchise operations in another eight countries. It is the largest family business in the security sector and in the top five per cent of the Security Industry Authority, Approved Contractor Scheme Register.
